Desperate to feed his children since their country was plunged into war, Sudanese electrician Ahmed Siri has sold off the family furniture. During breaks in the fighting, he combs the rubble of bombed-out buildings for scraps of food and bottled or clean water. He has padlocked the kitchen to ration dwindling supplies.which has resulted in to starvation as fighting drags on.
