PESSIMISM ACTIONS IN DARFUR AS WAR RAISES NEW FEARS OF LACKADAISICAL GENOCIDE.

The humanitarian situation in Darfur has been deteriorating since the beginning of this war.

 The 2.7 million displaced people living in camps for the last two decades, their host communities, and refugee populations from Chad, South Sudan and the Central African Republic are all affected by the new war.  

“I will hear them screaming in my head until the day I die.” she said.One woman saw gunmen set fire to the house her children were in. Another was beaten with sticks as she held her newborn.

In response to these atrocities, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants against several Sudanese senior officials, including Omar al-Bashir, on charges of crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur.
