The "Galamsey Queen" Aisha Huang charged Guilty by Accra High Court for undertaking Mining Operations without License.

illegal mining kingpin and Chinese national, Aisha Huang is to serve a four-and-a-half years prison sentence for breeching the Policies and laws that governs the minning sector of the country Ghana.

The 'galamsey queen' also known as Aisha Huang will in addition to her mining offences and jail term will also pay a fine of GH₵48,000.

An Accra High Court on Monday, December 4, 2023 found her guilty of undertaking a mining operation without a licence, facilitating the participation of persons engaged in mining operations, the illegal employment of foreigners and entering Ghana while prohibited from re-entry.

Aisha Huang was re-arrested after she found her way into the country following her deportation in 2018 also for illegal mining offenses which was why the High Court in Accra concluded with such a judgement or persecution.
