BORDER OFFICIALS OF UNITED STATES RECTIFIED SURGE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AT THE SOUTHERN BORDER.

Border officials encountered upwards of 14,000 illegal migrants at the southern border between Saturday and Friday, according to United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources.

Recently,The figures have followed a trend since President Biden took office; illegal border crossings dip around January and February, then tick back up in March 2024, before exploding in the spring. "If no action is taken – buckle up for the rest of the year, if the last 3 years are any indication," Melugin initially tweeted.

However,The number began to rise in 2018, largely driven by Central Americans fleeing a series of complex crises including gang violence, poverty, political repression and natural disasters. Detentions fell again in the summer of 2019, which USA Officials credited to increased enforcement.

Between the humanitarian risks posed by migrant surges, human trafficking, and the threats to our communities posed by illegal drugs, there is no denying the need for serious reforms to border enforcement, immigration policy, and very Dedicated leadership in facing this crisis head-on to ensure Sanity and Articulate Order at the Southern Border.
