TERROR INTERCEPTION VOLCANO ERUPTS NEAR THE COASTAL TOWN OF GRINDAVIK AFTER WEEKS OF EARTHQUAKES:METEOROLOGICAL OFFICE SAID

After weeks of rumbling and ominous signals,A volcanic eruption in southwest  Iceland was diminishing Tuesday,Authorities said, but it could noneheless continue for hours or days.

The Fissure is alittle over two miles long and is near the coastal town of Grindavik, which had been evacuated after monitoring indicated Magma was lurking underneath.
