UK AND UKRAINE INITIALLY "COORDINATE NEXT STEPS" ON AIR DEFENCE SYSTEMS

Ukraine's foreign minister has said he and his UK counterpart have "coordinated next steps" in an attempt to get more air defence systems into Ukraine.Dmytro Kuleba said they should be "first and foremost Patriots".





The Patriot is a surface-to-air defence system manufactured in the United States and used by the USA Army and other allies.It is considered to be one of the most advanced systems in the USA




Mr Kuleba said he had spoken to Lord Cameron following discussions at NATO HQ last week."We coordinated next steps to find and deliver additional air defence systems, first and foremost Patriots, to Ukraine," he said on X."I appreciate David's proactive approach aimed at getting things done."
