•Hussmann has partnered with Refra to provide exclusive supply of natural refrigeration systems in Australia.
Hussmann, a Panasonic company, has announced a strategic partnership with Refra for the exclusive supply of the latter’s refrigeration systems in the Australian market.
The companies say the collaboration will focus on transcritical CO2 racks, chillers and R290 heat pump technologies. As part of the partnership, Hussmann says it aims to enhance its offerings in the realm of sustainable refrigeration by incorporating technologies that promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to sustainability and innovation, allowing us to offer our customers effective and environmentally friendly refrigeration solutions.”
Vinney Kumar；Refra says it embarked on a transformative journey 10 years ago, redefining its production practices by incorporating natural refrigerants into its manufacturing process. The company says 84% of its production now uses CO2 or propane.
