"RUST FILMMAKE" MR. JOEL SOUZA FINALLY SPEAKS IN HIS EMOTIONAL INTERVIEW: CONCERNING THE FATAL SHOOTING ON SET "IT RUINED ME".

In his emotional first interview following the fatal shooting on the ‘Rust’ movie set, filmmaker Joel Souza discusses his complicated relationship with Alec Baldwin, the decision to finish the movie, and his friendship with the late cinematographer  Halyna Hutchins. 

“When I tell someone it ruined me, I don’t mean in the sense that people might generally think,” Souza tells Vanity Fair. “I don’t mean that it put my career in ruins.I mean, internally, the person I was just went away. That stopped.”
