The World Cup champion U.S. women’s soccer team will face Vietnam, the Netherlands and a team to be named later in New Zealand when group-stage play of the 2023 tournament begins next July.
The Americans open against newcomer Vietnam on July 22, 2023, at 50,000-seat Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand, as determined in a draw held Saturday in Auckland. The U.S. has never faced Vietnam.
