President Biden administration is considering reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous drug. It’s a potentially historic move that could make it much easier to buy and sell pot and make the industry more profitable.



Federal Marijuana Laws. Since the 1930's, has declared the use, sale, or distribution of marijuana illegal. Current federal drug laws appear in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). Enacted in 1970, the CSA classifies and regulates illegal drugs.



But in recent years,Marijuana may remain illegal federally, however in most states, it's accessible for adult medicals or recreational use and as usual industry purpose.


In November 2023, voters in Ohio made it the 24th state to approve legal recreational marijuana. Florida voters will have the chance to weigh in on recreational use this November.
Just as California has,and it substantially remains a controlled substance in the State.


United States Justice Department poised to ease restrictions on marijuana in historic shift, but it'll remain controlled substance.
