High-speed train lines in France were targeted by arson attacks, causing massive travel disruptions hours before the Opening Ceremonies of the Paris Olympic Games, the country’s national rail service said.

Gabriel Attal, the French caretaker prime minister, said that the “acts of sabotage” were carried out early Friday in a “prepared and coordinated manner.”
