The Food research institute and food drugs board Authority and other relevant research labs with similar activities are the specific scientific research centers mandated to conduct such scientific experimentation and research in to food processing,food preservation,food and product branding,storage marketing distribution and the use of staple,non staple and animals foods.
The Main Objective of the institute is to help the technologist to produce new foods and to improve on traditional ones.These institute and Authority also seeks to add more value to agricultural produce(farm harvest) and post-harvest loses at the farm.
All these issue are as a results of lack of good fertilizer (well treated).New farm methologies and splendid irrigation systems, not excluding the adhering to new agricultural practices for the betterment of unprecedented yield and productivity.
Post-harvest loses are very serious issues hindering Agricultural Production and also contributes the unexpected hike in food prices(food and services)which affects the internal revenue of the nation, so long as the sector is precisely concern.
