A residential building under construction collapsed on Tuesday in Kenya's capital, Nairobi. Construction workers are feared trapped under the rubble and rescue operations have begun. And according to witnesses, some people who were injured during the collapse are being treated in a nearby hospital.
Sudan's Central Darfur state has declared a state of emergency "for one month" after more than 24 people were killed in a tribal conflict, tribal leaders and the official Suna agency reported Monday.
