The spinal cord is an essential intergral part of the system(body) enclosed in the vertebral column which serves as a protectionfor it. Inside of the cord lies a grey matter while the outside is covered by a whitish matter.


Spinal nerves enter and leaves the spinal cord which the dorsal root are know as sensory nerves. And through the vertral root leaves the motor nerves.
The Spinal Canal is an enclose small canal filled with a fluid called cerebrospinal Fluid.


FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SPINAL CORD

1. It controls and co-ordinates reflex actions

2.conducts nerve impluses to and from the brain to the other parts of the vessel(body).

3.It is one of the most essential organ of the body that ensures the free flow and movement of pulses and signals from the control organ (brain) to  the other parts of the human body
